Jesse Owens Wins Four Gold Medals

Beginning on August 3, 1936, Jesse Owens won four gold medals at the Berlin Olympics in the 100m, 200m, long jump, and 4x100m relay. His victories directly challenged Adolf Hitler's claims of Aryan racial superiority and made Owens one of the most celebrated athletes in Olympic history.
