H. Rap Brown Born

Born October 4, 1943, H. Rap Brown succeeded Stokely Carmichael as chairman of SNCC in 1967. He became known for his fiery rhetoric and was placed on the FBI's Most Wanted list. He later converted to Islam and changed his name to Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin.
