Calvin Coolidge Grants Citizenship to Native Americans

Born October 2, 1800, Nat Turner was a literate enslaved man who believed he had been chosen by God to lead his people out of bondage. In August 1831, he led the most significant slave rebellion in American history, profoundly shaking the institution of slavery.
