Tyre Nichols Killed by Memphis Police

On January 10, 2023, Tyre Nichols was beaten by five Memphis police officers during a traffic stop. He died on January 10 from his injuries. All five officers were fired and charged with second-degree murder. The release of body camera footage sparked national outrage and renewed calls for police reform.
