Ossie Davis Born

Born December 18, 1917, Ossie Davis was a multifaceted artist and activist. He delivered the eulogy at Malcolm X's funeral and with his wife Ruby Dee, was a constant presence in the civil rights movement. He starred in Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing" and "Jungle Fever."
