Ernest Everett Just Born

Ernest Everett Just was born on January 14, 1883, in Charleston, South Carolina. He became a groundbreaking cell biologist whose research on fertilization and cell division earned him international recognition. He was the first recipient of the NAACP's Spingarn Medal in 1915.
